I have already posted multiple Glow Up Guides in the past, all of them for multiple purposes; you can check out How To Glow Up Overnight here, How To Glow Up Over The Weekend here, and How To Glow Up In One Month here.
These suggestions are merely ‘quick-fixes’, and I don’t want to sound like I am telling you to do these things. These are just a couple of tips that you can cherry-pick from. Take what resonates and leave what doesn’t, if you will.
Also, these are just (very) generalized tips on appearance and everyday routines. I am fully aware that not everybody has time to implement all of these.
Most importantly, I am not presenting these tips to tell you that your beauty is not valid. Take this guide more as a challenge, if you want. No negativity here ♡
So, are you ready to find out which 10 steps are featured in this Glow Up Guide on How To Glow Up In 10 Days?
Let’s get started!
Do you want to literally glow up overnight using the Light Feminine method? Click here!
I am not saying you should do a full-body shred every single day for the entirety of the 10 days. If you’re already working out and feel like you can handle that, however, go right ahead!
Movement can simply mean taking a walk, or doing light yoga, or any other activity you’d like to try out. Even dancing!
There are tons and tons of free workout videos on YouTube, and I wholeheartedly suggest you to check them out. You can follow them from home, or even involve a friend!
I don’t mean to call you out on your hygiene, I am pretty sure that you’re doing ok in that department. However, maybe there are a couple of practices that you can implement to make your routine more comfortable!
Showering everyday is something you most likely already do, but I would recommend moisturizing your body right after it as well. This step can be overlooked, but I promise you’ll see a difference in just a couple of days!
Another tip I have for you is to exfoliate 3 times a week. Getting rid of the dead skin (and shaving after, if you want) is perfect to reach that glowy, smooth and soft skin we all dream about!
I personally prefer to shower at night, and I always use perfume right after a shower. For some reason, I find that the fragrance lasts longer that way?
A little tip I have is to apply body cream first, and then apply your perfume. It will last a lot longer and linger on your clothes better. In case you’re worried about the 2 of them blending together, pick a lighter-scented moisturizer (or even an unscented one).
As silly as it sounds, this can make quite the big impact in your daily routine!
If you don’t really have an elaborate haircare routine, you don’t necessarily have to create one; shampoo and conditioner will do just fine.
Keeping a somewhat regular haircare routine keeps your hair nice and healthy, and clean as well! Also, it’s great to have already washed your hair if an unexpected occasion comes up.
Of course, feel free to wash them to your needs – you don’t have to adhere to the 3 times per week thing.
I feel like this is pretty self-explanatory, huh?
Before you start to freak out on me, let me say this; you absolutely don’t have to follow an entire 16-steps K-skincare plan if you’re not comfortable to do that.
If you already have a tried and tested routine, go for it; on the other hand, don’t panic if you don’t. Your skincare routine can include a toner and a moisturizer, and that’s it!
However, one thing that is not negotiable here is using spf in the morning; please do that. That’s important.
Also, always remove your makeup at night. That’s also very important.
Ok, this may be my favorite tip ever – let alone my fave in this glow up guide! If you’re not doing this, I highly suggest you to try at least once.
This is one of the most effortless ways to literally transform your lips overnight, and you’ll see a difference after just one application. I always do it, either with glosses, balms or actual lip plumpers.
Bonus points if you exfoliate beforehand!
I know that this may be the most unrealistic tip for a lot of people reading, because life gets in the way a lot. However, if you can try it, I highly recommend giving this tip a shot.
Sleeping for 8 hours every night not only improves your energy levels for the day, but helps your skin and your body get stronger as well.
Also, who doesn’t love sleep? Death with benefits, am I right?
This is the recommended amount of water to drink everyday, and it’s the most effective way to reach clear, hydrated skin. Drinking a lot of water will also help you detox your body and your skin, as well as keep your hair nice and healthy.
Lastly, allow me to end this glow up guide with this super quick tip regarding your meals.
The 80/20 rule is, quite obviously divided in 2. The first part of this percentage, 80, refers to the amount of nutritious (healthy) food you should consume. The 20%, on the other hand, is the percentage of ‘junk’ (or unhealthy) food you can consume.
Of course, it would be ideal for all of us to follow a healthy lifestyle when it comes to nutrition all of the time. However, we have to recognize that it isn’t always that easy to do it!
The 80/20 rule is simply here to remind you that even if you think that you messed up an entire day of healthy eating, you are probably just being too hard on yourself. Just check back to that percentage!
♡ Thank you so much for reading! I hope we kept each other company for a while. Have a wonderful day! ♡
