Hey, pretty people!
Not too long ago, I posted the third chapted of The Fashion Journal, a fashion guide series I created on my blog. That chapter was a complete guide to Light Academia fashion. You can check it out here!
Besides a complete fashion guide about colors, cuts and items in general, I included a total of 10 outfits as inspiration. At the time, I seemed content with just those. However, I recently caressed the idea of writing a post full of just style inspo.
This post is going to feature a total of 15 Light Academia outfits; I have decided to leave the basis of the aesthetics on my original post, which, once again, you can find here.
I will, however, include a brief description of the outfit and how you can customize it to meet your needs more. Of course, you don’t need to copy these outfits at all!
The variations presented here are meant to serve as inspiration and nothing more. They absolutely are not pillars of the aesthetics, and shouldn’t be treated as such.
Lastly, before jumping straight into the post, I just wanted to clarify a small detail about it.
I have decided to split the post in two parts. I don’t want to bore you with too much infos all at once, and hopefully the two articles will make things nice, organized and easy to read.
So, are you finally ready to check out 15 Light Academia outfits inspos?
Let’s get started!
DEMO #1
We are kicking off these list of Light Academia outfits with an incredibly classic assemble. Something that would look cute and classy in multiple situations, from the office to a night out.
I think that the best thing about this outfit is, of course, how versatile it looks. The layers make it perfect for any season, and the simple addition of a coat will allow you to wear it throughout the coldest months as well.
Personally, I would wear the blouse tucked into the pants. Moreover, you can totally swap the flats for some kind of neutral heels. Flats could be more comfortable for you, but heels could potentially add another chic twist to this ensamble.
It’s a pretty basic outfit, but also a good one to be inspired by!
DEMO #2
This outfit is definitely much more interesting than the one presented just before, and is quite more colorful as well.
Once again, I have to say it can be worn in pretty much any season. I think that the hat gives it more of an early fall and even spring taste. However, I could see it working pretty much in any month. Just make sure not to pick something too heavy for Spring and Summer!
If you wanted to make this outfit more ‘comfortable’ and toned-down, I would recommend switching the shoes with a pair of flats or boots. Firstly, they will be more comfortable to wear. Moreover, it will save you from wearing heels in school (or in your workplace).
The sunglasses and hat are completely optional, I just wanted to add them to have some wild elements into the ensamble and hopefully push you out of your comfort zone. In fact, I think they add an interesting twist to this outfit.
DEMO #3
This third outfit inspo is one of my favorites, mainly because of how easily you can make it fit every single season. The version presented here is supposed to fit Fall and Winter more, but with just a couple of tricks you’ll see how you can wear it pretty much whenever!
For starters, these tights are absolutely optional. Feel free to completely disregard them throughout the warmer months, as you can do with these boots. You could easily go for some elegant sneakers instead, or even a pair of heeled sandals.
I think this outfit is one of those staples to keep ready whenever you have no idea what you want to wear. It’s great for the office and school, and looks stylish without being ‘too much’.
I do see how the sunglasses could be over the top for some, which is why I encourage you to omit them if you don’t feel comfortable wearing them!
DEMO #4
I find this pairing incredibly interesting, although it could easily lean more towards the ‘Dark Academia’ aesthetics. Regardless, I am glad I was able to show some love to a color pairing that is criminally underrated, in my opinion; brown and light blue.
This outfit is an ensamble of multiple different pieces; generally, it looks more elegant than what you may be feel comfortable wearing. However, I must admit it is one of my favorites I have created so far!
Personally, I think that the hat and the backpack add a more laid-back vibe to it, while the pairing of the top, skirt and cardigan offer a more ‘stern’ and pulled-together look. In all honesty, I would only swap these ankle boots for knee-high ones.
This is something that would look better in Fall and Winter, but I do think you could make use of it in Spring as well; swapping the shoes for a heeled sandal pair could potentially do wonders for this outfit!
DEMO #5
This (almost) total white ensamble screams Spring and Summer, and I thought it was going to be perfect in this Light Academia Outfits collection.
I see this look as being quite versatile, which is probably why it is one of my favorites of the bunch. Moreover, it has the perfect balance between comfort and elegance – probably leaning more towards the comfortable side.
Overall, I have to say I see this ensamble more as a fun day-out one; it would be quite comfortable for a date with your friends or significant other, and would be nice to wear at school as well. I don’t really see as a work-appropriate attire, but feel free to customize it for the setting.
I think these shoes fit this aesthetics quite well, and furtherly push the comfortable vibe; sandals would work as well, and sneakers would just be the icing on the cake.
DEMO #6
As opposed to the relaxed outfit from before, this one has a much more elegant and pulled together vibe; I think it is quite a good pairing for work, and for school as well.
This blouse and pants is a classic pairing, which is why I would think it is a classic outfit to always have hanging around when you don’t know what to wear. Plus, brown and white always look quite good together!
I think that the beret is the obvious wild card here. It is a totally optional choice, but I do think it fits well with all of these items. Moreover, it is the icing on the cake when it comes to the elegant vibe of the ensamble.
The shape of these sunglasses is definitely a fun one to try out, but I do see how some people could find it to be too much – especially paired with the beret.
DEMO #7
Halfway between comfortable and elegant, this outfit is one of those choices you can wear pretty much anywhere and still manage to look good.
Light beige and light blue are quite a good color pairing when it comes to Light Academia outifts; in fact, I think they look especially good with these items.
This outfit can look good both for the office and school, and simply switching the heels for a pair of boots or elegant sneakers would do wonders for the vibe of the ensamble. Heels definitely help the elegance here, but that doesn’t mean that a more comfortable solution would take that away.
Another aspect I appreciate about this outfit is how versatile it is; in any season and occasion, without being too much or too simple.
DEMO #8
This is definitely a more elaborated ensemble compared to most Light Academia outfits, and can give off a more pulled together and elegant vibe than a few of the ones we have seen so far.
Much like most of the pairings we have seen, this is one that looks well in any season; I would recommend going for a long sleeved shirt for the colder months, as well as a long coat on top.
This attire is more of a Spring one, and one that would look quite good for both school and office; the sunglasses add that spice to it, and the boots provide a more comfortable feel. Needless to say, the vest is the true elegant element of the whole outfit.
It has to be one of my favorites of this post!
♡ Thank you so much for reading! I hope we kept each other company for a while. Have a wonderful day! ♡
