2 Palettes, 44 Dupes: Soph x Revolution Collabs (SophX + Extra Spice)
Hey, pretty people!
This ‘spot the dupes’ post is a little bit different than the previous ones. This time, in fact, I decided to put 2 palettes to the test.
The products in question are Sophdoesnails (Soph)’ collabs with the brand Makeup Revolution, a total of 42 eyeshadows ranging from neutrals to pops of color. I also wrote a post about all the dupes hidden in Soph’s first palette alone, but I wanted to step things up a bit here.
The two palette are quite diverse but also have a few ‘points in common’ when it comes to certain shades; if you are a hardcore Soph x Revolution fan you probably have both, either way!

ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS – Sultry
One of the latest addtions to the ABH family and also one of the most versatile and beginner-friendly color schemes; all 14 shades find a match in the drugstore palettes.
JOUER – Rose Gold Collection Matte & Shimmer palette
Jouer has been flourishing these past couple of years, not exactly thanks to its eyeshadows though. This palette is a nice neutral selection that features two eye-catching pops of color; all the 12 shadows find a perfect match in Soph’s palettes.
SEPHORA COLLECTION – PRO Pigment Warm Matte
One of the most underappreciated and underestimated brands out there (in my opinion), Sephora Collection features a good variety of products, from lipsticks to palettes. This may not be the most original shade selection out there, but it sure is a fan favorite!
KAT VON D – Shade + Light Eye Contour
Under fire almost 24/7, Kat Von D’s beauty line has launched many successful items over the years – and this is one is without a doubt the most famous one. This palette is a whole lot of neutrals, and every shade has a match inside the cheaper alternatives.
MARC JACOBS
From now on, we’ll be seeing more choices for a single brand; as you can clearly see, we’ll start with Marc Jacobs. Undoubtedly one of the most luxurious-looking packagings in the beauty world, the ‘Eye-Conic’ palettes feature a total of 7 shades each. Today, we’ll examine ‘Glambition’ and ‘Scanda Lust’.

CHARLOTTE TILBURY
A total of 3 palettes from Charlotte Tilbury quads find a perfect match into Soph’s palettes: ‘The Dolce Vita’, ‘The Vintage Vamp’ and ‘The Sophisticate’.

VIOLET VOSS
Following the 3-palettes trend we have going on, we are keeping it up with a mid-range (in terms of price) brand like Violet Voss. The palettes we are examining are ‘Berry Burst’, ‘Crème Brulée’ and ‘Le Macaron’.

HUDA BEAUTY
Definitely not a stranger to this series, Huda Beauty makes her entrance in this post with 4 of her smallest palettes: ‘Topaz’, ‘Smokey’, ‘Mauve’ and ‘Warm Brown’.

SMASHBOX
Once again, not exactly a drugstore brand but not a bad one, either. They are all part of the Cover Shot series, and they are: ‘Ablaze’, ‘Matte’, ‘Major Metals’ and ‘Minimalist’.

ZOEVA
All of these palettes have already been featured in this series, but I believe they’re always worth mentioning. Just like before, we have a total of 4 palettes.

TOO FACED
One of the most beloved brands out there, Too Faced is a popular mid-range brand that became famous for their ‘Chocolate Bar’ series; out of all 5 palettes portrayed here, there also is a full Chocolate Bar!

TARTE
The ‘Tartelette’ palettes have been fan favorites for a while now, but many people accuse them to be fairly boring and always propose the same, ever-so-slightly varied color scheme. Either way, 5 Tartelette palettes find a match into the two Soph x Revolution drugstore ones.

URBAN DECAY
Their ‘Naked’ eyeshadow palette series really made their fortune, but that’s not the only selection that made it into this post!

The most expensive brand in this post and one of the most expensive and luxurious on the shelves at Sephora, Natasha Denona is mainly famous for very colorful and fun eyeshadow palettes.
