Sure, you can find multiple valid options on the shelves of your local drugstore, but if you’re in a pinch (or simply enjoy crafting!) you can easily make one yourself.

 

Today, we’re examining 3 different DIY lip scrubs that you can make from the comfort of your own home!

The Ultimate DIY Plumping Lip Scrub

This is an OG recipe on my blog – an oldie but a goodie, you might say!

It’s made from 5 ingredients, and has nice and hydrating properties. One of the ingredients, cinnamon essential oil, offers a nice plumping effect. You can also completely omit it, if you’re not interested in that!

This formula is perfect if you like classic lip scrubs, and it’s definitely one of my personal favorites.

 

 

DIY Plumping, Smoothing & Hydrating Pink Salt Lip Scrub

This is probably the most elaborate DIY lip scrub formula of the bunch, and one you’ll find yourself thoroughly enjoying.

Made from 6 ingredients, this formula focuses on plumping and smoothing out your lips, and does so from the very first use!

If the cinnamon oil was optional before, you don’t really wanna skip it here – at least if you want a proper plumping effect.

 

 

DIY 4-Ingredients Whipped Plumping Lip Scrub

This last DIY lip scrub is quite a unique formulation, and even more elaborate compared to the previous ones we have seen. It’s one you want to take your time with!

The fact it only has 4 ingredients is quite good, considering you’ll need to be whipping up the oil. Moreover, it has a nice plumping effect thanks to the essential oils.
