Lip oils are among the hottest makeup trends of the last years, and their popularity is constantly on the rise. Especially now that Summer is approaching!
You can find a myriad of options either at Sephora or the drugstore, but did you know you can actually make your own at home?
In this post, we’ll examine a total of 5 different DIY lip oil recipes.
They all focus on hydration, but each one provides a different spin on it. One’s a tinted formula, while the other comes with an incomparable plumping effect.
Are you ready to find out how to create the perfect one for you?
Let’s get crafting!
This is the very first DIY lip oil I have ever posted on my blog. You probably have seen the pin on Pinterest, if you’ve ever researched for similar DIY beauty recipes!
It’s made from only 4 ingredients, and it’s a pretty straight-forward formula. It’s nice and hydrating, perfect to use to fight the heat!
This is a fun spin on your classic lip oil, one that’s perfect for Spring and Summer!
This formula is still made from only 4 ingredients, and one of them is an eyeshadow of your choice. It’s an optimal way to start getting through the way too many palettes you have but hardly ever use!
If you’re looking to plump your lips, this is the formula to go for!
We have 5 ingredients this time, and they all aim at hydrating and plumping your pout. Just a word of advice: if the stinging effect proves to be too much, just remove the lip oil entirely.
If you’re looking for an even more extreme plumping solution, this is the formulation to try!
It definitely lives up to its name, as the stinging feeling is incredibly prominent and, dare I say, downright uncomfortable. Again, if it proves to be too much, remove it immediately – although the sensation is quite normal.
This last formula combines the best of both worlds! You get the effectiveness of a lip plumper, combined with the fun color you get to choose.
Although the stinging effect is far less strong than the ‘extreme’ version, it’s still quite present. Just be mindful of that!
The ingredients are 5 this time, but the crafting process is still easy and quick.
♡ Thank you so much for reading! I hope we kept each other company for a while. Have a wonderful day! ♡
