I have been hit by some kind of DIY frenzy lately!
Skincare products have always been my favorites, you’ll find one for every day of the week browsing through this blog, but I want to explore a bit more. In fact, following my DIY deodorant experience (check the recipe out here!), I decided to get a little more creative and find something else to work on.
Haircare definitely needs more attention, especially from me, but I wanted to start off with something more ‘universal’.
A DIY hair perfume will work on any type of hair, and this recipe takes only a couple of minutes to make. Curious?
Let’s get started!
Do you want to literally glow up overnight using the Light Feminine method? Click here!
You could easily substitute the distilled water with rose water, but I don’t want the flavors to clash.
I would suggest you to mix the ingredients in a separate bowl, to make sure everything will blend perfectly.
To start off, mix the aloe vera gel with the essential oil drops. I prefer this method so you can control the smell of the product, and stop (or continue) adding the flavored oil’s drops according to your preferences.
Also, you don’t even need to use only one oil: try mix things up a bit!
Now that you have your base down, it’s time to pour the water in and blend all the ingredients as well as you can. Moreover, if you find the smell to be too faint, you can always add a little bit more drops of essential oil.
Lastly, pour the liquid into your spray bottle; your perfume is all ready!
