Do you want to literally glow up overnight using the Light Feminine method? Click here!
I have brought so many different face mask recipes on the blog, I have literally lost count. There is so much you can get out of ingredients that are just sitting in your kitchen, it’s actually pretty impressive!
There is a face mask for every single skin concern you may have, but what about lifting? I never really focused much on this topic, but as you may have guessed from the title things are about to change!
Now, this mask won’t be no one-and-done treatment, let’s be real. Natural ingredients are great, but if you want an immediate transformation you may want to turn to other practices.
On the other hand, the constant use of this mask will give you actually tangible results in the long run.
Sure, you won’t see your skin completely different right away, but a week or so later you’ll start noticing something.
So, are you ready to find out how to make your own DIY Face Lifting and Plumping Mask?
Let’s get started!
Before jumping into the crafting process, let’s quickly talk about these ingredients and a few of their benefits for your skin.
One of the most refreshing ingredients out there, Cucumbers are pretty good when it comes to skincare as well. In fact, this ingredient can help reduce inflammation and swelling, as well as gently hydrate the skin and reduce redness and acne. Moreover, the Vitamins in cucumbers can help tighten and lift sagging skin and make it plumper.
Aloe Vera Gel is a recurrent ingredient in my DIY skincare formulas, and a generally popular one. It can help gently moisturize and exfoliate the complexion, all the while fighting acne and keeping breakouts at bay. Also, it can help reduce the size of your pores. Thanks to its moisturizing and tightening properties, aloe vera can promote the appearance of lifted and plump skin as well.
Green Tea is not only a delicious beverage, but also a neat skincare ingredient! It will help prevent breakouts and fight acne, and help unclog pores. Moreover, this liquid will also promote healthier and glowing skin, all the while evening out the complexion.
Firstly, you want to peel and wash your cucumber and cut it in half. Throw one half into your blender, and keep the other half in your fridge (I would recommend using it for cucumber infused water).
Turn your cucumber into the smoothest paste possible, and then add it to the aloe vera gel.
Next, make your green tea. Allow the bag to infuse into the hot water for about 5 minutes, then take it out and add the leaves into the cucumber and aloe mixture. Stir everything together for a couple of minutes, to ensure all the ingredients really got to know each other well.
And your DIY Face Lifting and Plumping Mask is all ready to go!
Apply it on clean, dry skin and leave it on for 20-3o minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water. For a stronger effect, repeat every other day.
