Hey, pretty people!

There are a few face serum recipes on this blog to try out, and some of them also focus on giving you a more even and glowy complexion.

This one, however, can also help you fight blemishes and shrink your pores as well.

Our skin usually takes the toll of stress and various everyday situations, and a dull skintone is often the product of that.

This product may seem easy and cheap to craft, but trust me: it’s going to help you achieve the complexion of your dreams!

So, are you ready to find out what’s so special about this DIY face serum for even, glowing and poreless skin?

Let’s get started!

YOU’LL NEED

  • 1 teaspoon of Aloe Vera Gel or Aloe Vera Oil
  • 1 teaspoon of Almond Oil
  • A serum bottle (or container of choice)
  • 1 teaspoon of Rose Water
  • 1-2 Vitamin E Oil tab(s)

Before jumping into the crafting process, let’s quickly talk about these ingredients and all their benefits for your skin.

ALOE VERA GEL

Aloe Vera Gel is a recurrent ingredient in my DIY skincare formulas, and a generally quite popular one. It can help gently moisturize and exfoliate the complexion, all the while fighting acne and keeping breakouts at bay. Also, it can help reduce the size of your pores. If you’d rather use Aloe Vera Oil, here are all the directions you’ll need to make it yourself!

ALMOND OIL

Almond Oil is another popular ingredient when it comes to skincare, and a pretty versatile one as well. This oil is great when it comes to promoting a much healthier, more even and glowy skintone, reducing the appearance of scars and acne. Moreover, it can help reduce under-eye circles and puffiness.

ROSE WATER

Rose Water is a powerful tonic solution, but it’s actually a much more versatile liquid than what you may think. Besides restoring the skin’s natural pH balance levels, rose water can help shrink pores and effectively fight acne and blemishes. Also, it will help reduce redness and promote an even complexion.

VITAMIN E OIL

Lastly, let’s spend a few words on Vitamin E Oil. This ingredient is here to make sure you can safely store your face serum outside of the fridge without it going bad. You could easily omit it altogether, but make sure to store the product into the fridge after every use.

Alright, let’s get crafting!

The first thing you want to do is mix your Aloe Vera gel (or Aloe Vera Oil) and Almond oil together. Keep going until you see the mixture becoming more and more cohesive, and the ingredients seem almost completely blended with each other.

At this point, add the Rose Water and Vitamin E Oil tab(s) and mix everything together some more. You want a clear and smooth consistency, so keep stirring the mixture for at least 5 minutes.

All you have to do now is pour the formula into the container you chose.

And your DIY Face Serum for Even, Glowy and Poreless Skin is all ready to go!
