Hey, pretty people!
I am a big fan of multipurpose beauty products, especially if I can craft them up myself!
I love to come up with new recipes frequently, but this product is something very new for me.
This heat has been quite harsh on my complexion, and I could really use some help.
Face masks are my go-to choice usually, but I wanted to try out something different. This product can be used as either a face mask, a serum or a simple toner.
I would advise you to adjust the quantities according to the use, though.
Let’s get started!
YOU’LL NEED
- 1 Tablespoon of Aloe Vera Gel
- 1 Tablespoon of Rose Water
- 1 Tablespoon of Rosehip Oil
- A couple of Vitamin E Oil Tabs (optional)
- An empty serum bottle (optional)
I am fairly certain you have gathered that all of these ingredients provide a more glowing and healthy looking complexion by now, but let’s talk about some of their other properties.
ALOE VERA GEL
Aloe verais amazing when it comes to fighting acne, blemishes and redness. Providing a good amount of moisture, this gel helps fighting dry skin and cleanse and refine pores.
ROSE WATER
Rose water is also a pore cleansing and refining ingredient, but can help reducing acne and blemishes as well. Moreover, it’s the true toning element of this product.
ROSEHIP OIL
Rosehip oilwill not only provide you with moisture and glow, but could also help you heal scars and blemishes. It’s also a good help to fight skin pigmentation and fight acne.
VITAMIN E OIL
Vitamin E oil is optional, but it will preserve the shelf life of the product. I highly recommend adding it to the mixture!
Ok, let’s get crafting!
I like to mix rose water and rosehip oil together first, since they have a similar consistency.
They won’t blend together perfectly, but that’s not the point.
Once you have given the liquids a couple of stirs, it’s time to add in your aloe vera gel.
You want the overall consistency of the product to be somewhat cohesive, which means a kind of liquid-y gel type.
If you want to make a serum, try adding more oil or rose water and mixing the product more.
♡ Thank you so much for reading! I hope we kept each other company for a while. Have a wonderful day! ♡
