DIY Aloe Vera + Rose Water Facial Mist | Moisturizes, Shrinks Pores, & Much More!

DIY Aloe Vera + Rose Water Facial Mist | Moisturizes, Shrinks Pores, & Much More!

Hey, pretty people!

As you probably know by now, I am absolutely in love with DIYs, particularly DIY skincare products; among these, facial mist are quicly becoming my favorites.

Aloe vera, probably the star ingredient of this DIY facial mist, is a powerful all-in-one gel.

Not only it moisturizes the skin and helps you fight imperfections, but also promotes shine and minimizes pore sizes.

The best detail about it, however, is that you either already have it home or can purchase it for a couple of dollars at your local drugstore.

Want to know something more about this mist?

Let’s get started!

Do you want to literally glow up overnight using the Light Feminine method? Click here!

YOU’LL NEED

  • A cup of warm water
  • 2 Tbs Aloe Vera gel
  • 2 Tbs Rose Water
  • 1 tab (or 1 tsp) Vitamin E oil
  • A spray bottle

Before jumping straight into the tutorial, I just wanted to spend a few words on our ingredients and their benefits for the skin.

ALOE VERA

As I mentioned before, Aloe Vera is a marvelous moisturizing agent for your face; besides that, it will help you keeping it soft and healthy, not only helping you fight imperfections but also shrinking your pores.

ROSE WATER

Rose Water will also help you shrink your pores’ size, but also add a little bit of needed healthy glow to your complexion.

VITAMIN E

Vitamin E, lastly, is not only the ingredient that will help you preserve your mist, but will also help you promote the appearance of healthier skin.

Let’s get crafting!

Ok, now that we’ve got our ingredients out of the way, it’s finally time to craft our DIY facial mist up.

I like to start off with warm/hot water to make sure all the ingredients will blend perfectly before pouring them into the spray bottle.

I then add Aloe Vera, rose water and my Vitamin E tab (you can easily use one teaspoon of Vitamin E oil instead), and mix everything until the liquid looks seamless. Once it’s completely cooled down, I pour it into my spray container.

What I love the most about this facial mist is how versatile it is! My favorite use is as active part of my skincare routine – before my moisturizer and before going to bed – but can also double up as a makeup setting spray; it leans more towards the dewy side, however. It’s a great moisturizer, but also a good product to smooth and clean up your skin; moreover, it will help you shrink your pores!

I would definitely recommend making a smaller amount and storing the formula in your fridge at all times! ♡
