The concept of DIY blends may seem odd at first, but I promise it’s a lot simpler that what you think. In fact, this DIY Blend is a simple DIY Face Spray!
This acne remedy is a little different than what I brought on my blog in the past – for starters, the main ingredient is chamomile tea. I absolutely love this ingredient when it comes to DIY skin care, especially when the product in question targets your face.
This DIY Face Spray is incredibly easy to craft, and features a total of 5 ingredients. 3 of those happen to be essential oils.
So, are you ready to find out how to make your own DIY Blend for Acne and Imperfections?
Let’s get started!

Before getting started with the ingredients, I would like to quickly touch the container subject.
I personally used a spray bottle, mainly because I feel more comfortable with this. However, if you plan to use this blend as a toner/serum, feel free to pick whichever container you prefer!
The base of the blend, chamomile tea, is the perfect liquid to mix your essential oils into. It helps fighting acne, blemishes and scars, but also generally prevents breakouts. It also provides a bit more moisture to the skin!
Tea Tree Oil is definitely one of the most popular ingredients to fight acne and blemishes, so it would only seem natural to include it here. This oil works wonderfully to kill bacteria and germs, thanks to its many properties; it dries out the pus of the pimple very quickly and efficiently, and helps fight texture as well.
The fresh Lemongrass Oil is one of the best addition to your blend if you want to prevent breakouts, especially on oily skin types. It’s also another great ingredient to fight and eliminate acne and blemishes.
Lastly, Lavender Oil. This oil is one of the most versatile ones, and can also be used to fight acne and clean up the skin. Also, this oils helps heal the scars and fight redness and itchiness.
The first thing you want to do is make your chamomile tea. Leave the bag infusing into the hot boiling water for about 5 minutes, then take it out.
At this point, it’s time to add your Vitamin E Oil tab into it; leave the tea cooling down for 20 minutes before proceeding.
Once you have a cool tea, it’s time to add your essential oils to it; there really isn’t a particular order here, so just add the drops to the tea and go.
After giving the mixture a thorough stir, pour it into your container. And your acne and blemish blend is all ready to go!
Just remember to shake it well before using it.
