DIY Cucumber Infused Water Face Serum – for Lifted and Plump Skin
Do you want to literally glow up overnight using the Light Feminine method? Click here!
Hey, pretty people!
I have brought a similar face serum solution recently. The formula was a little intricate, but I must say the final result turned out to be 100% worth it.
The formulation of a water-based serum is a lot lighter than the average one, which also makes it quicker and easier to absorbs. It pairs with the rest of your skincare perfectly, and is just the perfect something to add a little more hydration into your routine.
Moreover, it can be a nice product to keep in mind if you wish to fight the appearance of dull skin and promote a more youthful and bright complexion.
So, are you ready to find out how to make your own DIY Cucumber Infused Water Face Serum?
Let’s get started!
YOU’LL NEED
- 2 teaspoons of Aloe Vera Oil or Aloe Vera Gel (I would recommend the oil just because it is easier to mix)
- 2 teaspoons of Cucumber Infused Water
- 1-2 Vitamin E Oil tab(s)
- An empty serum bottle
- A bowl
Before jumping into the crafting process, let’s quickly spend a few words on these ingredients and some of their benefits for your skin.
ALOE VERA GEL
Aloe Vera Gel is a recurrent ingredient in my DIY skincare formulas, and a generally popular one. It can help gently moisturize and exfoliate the complexion, all the while fighting acne and keeping breakouts at bay. Also, it can help reduce the size of your pores. If you’d rather use Aloe Vera Oil, here are all the directions you’ll need to make it yourself! I personally decided to use the oil, because it was a lot easier to mix with the other ingredients.
CUCUMBER INFUSED WATER
A popular refreshing drink, Cucumber Infused Water is packed with antioxidant properties that will make your skin clear and healthy. It can give you a boost of hydration, making it perfect for dry skin types, and can also brighten your skin thanks to its Vitamin C.
VITAMIN E OIL
Lastly, let’s spend a few words on Vitamin E Oil. This ingredient is here to make sure you can safely store your cucumber infused water serum outside of the fridge without it going bad. You could easily omit it altogether, but make sure to store the product into the fridge after every use. Even if you do end up adding it, make sure to keep a close eye on it either way!
Alright, let’s get crafting!
Firstly, you want to make your cucumber infused water.
Allow the liquid to infuse even overnight, for a better chance of it releasing all the minerals and Vitamins we want! I left mine in my fridge overnight, and the next day I took the two tespoons out of it and immediately mixed them with the Vitamin E Oil.
Once your liquid is ready, it’s time to add the Aloe Vera Oil/Gel and mix everything together. This is especially necessary if you decided to use Aloe Vera Gel; you want the final consistency to be completely smooth, so take your time with this step.
Lastly, pour your formula into the empty serum bottle.
And your DIY Cucumber Infused Water Face Serum is all ready to go!
