If there is a skin care product I personally find incredibly underrated, that has to be face sprays. And before you click off, let me explain myself.
You can carry face sprays everywhere, even at school and work. Also, you can apply them (virtually) anywhere – you just need to go to a bathroom; you can easily carry them in your purse or backpack. And they can come in such aesthetically pleasing bottles!
The best part about face sprays, however, is that they’re incredibly easy to make at home. And that’s where this DIY Face Spray comes in!
I have recently started playing around with Himalayan Pink Salt, and I have to say I have been loving every single moment of it. I have crafted up quite a few recipes lately, and look forward to sharing them all with you!
This DIY face spray is not only pretty easy and cheap to make, but also has a ton of benefits for every skin type out there; the best thing about it is that you most likely already have all the ingredients needed at home!
So, are you ready to find out how to make your own face spray at home and see why it is so amazing?
Let’s get started!
Before jumping into the crafting process, let’s talk about these ingredients and all their benefits for your skin.
Chamomile Tea, the base of this face spray, is one of the best ingredients out there for more sensitive skin types. It will help moisturize the skin while fighting acne and preventing breakouts. Also, it will reduce redness and itchiness and promote softer and more glowing skin.
Himalayan Pink Salt has various benefits for your skin, like balancing oil production and making your complexion healthier and more glowy. It can help toning the skin and shrinking your pores, as well as fighting acne and controlling breakouts.
Lavender Essential Oil is one of the most versatile oils out there, and is perfect for every skin type. It will help moisturize the skin, as well as reduce itchiness and redness. Also, it is a valuable help in treating acne, breakouts and texture.
Lastly, Vitamin E Oil. This ingredient will not only allow you to store this spray outside of your fridge without it going bad, but will also help your skin boost its collagen production and reduce texture.
The first thing you want to do is make your chamomile tea. Leave the bag infusing for about 5 minutes, then take it out and allow the liquid to cool down for 15-20 minutes.
This is the perfect time to add the salt and Vitamin E oil tab to it! Stir the ingredients together for a couple of minutes, then let the liquid cool down before proceeding.
Once you have a cool tea, add the lavender oil drops to it and give the mixture a final stir. All you have to do now is pour it into the spray bottle.
And your DIY face spray is all ready to go!
Remember to give it a good shake before using, though.
