Hey, pretty people!

Honey water is currently my go-to choice when it comes to skincare. I find it to be one of the quickest and most effective ways to get my skin back on track, not to mention a cheap one.

Dryness is quite the annoying problem to face when it comes to skincare, but thankfully there are a few ways around it.

In the natural department, one of the most common is a face spray. It is one of the quickest products to craft, and you only need very few ingredients to make the perfect one for you.

So, are you ready to find out how to make your own DIY Honey Water Face Spray?

Let’s get started!

YOU’LL NEED

  • 1 cup of Distilled Water
  • A little less than 1/4 cup of Honey
  • 3 Tablespoons of Aloe Vera Gel
  • 1-2 Vitamin E Oil tab(s)
  • A spray bottle

Before jumping into the crafting process, let’s quickly talk about these ingredients and a few of their benefits for your skin.

HONEY

A natural antiseptic, Honey is the go-to ingredient when it comes to healthy, glowing skin. Full of hydrating properties, this ingredient will help you fight acne and imperfections, promoting a healthier and clearer complexion. Moreover, it will help enhance your natural skintone fighting hyperpigmentation and discoloration.

ALOE VERA GEL

Aloe Vera Gel is a recurrent ingredient in my DIY skincare formulas, and a generally popular one. It can help gently moisturize and exfoliate the complexion, all the while fighting acne and keeping breakouts at bay. Also, it can help reduce the size of your pores. If you’d rather use Aloe Vera Oil, here are all the directions you’ll need to make it yourself! I personally decided to use the oil, because it was a lot easier to mix with the other ingredients.

VITAMIN E OIL

Lastly, let’s spend a few words on Vitamin E Oil. This ingredient is here to make sure you can safely store your citrus water serum outside of the fridge without it going bad. You could easily omit it altogether, but make sure to store the product into the fridge after every use. Even if you do end up adding it, make sure to keep a close eye on it either way!

Alright, let’s get crafting!

Firstly, let’s actually talk about the honey water; I personally like the water to reach a boiling point. then allow it to cool down for 20 minutes.

Once your water has cooled down, it’s time to add the honey and Vitamin E Oil tab(s). You want to stir everything for a couple of minutes at least, to make sure it is smooth and the honey has melted.

Lastly, pour the liquid into the spray bottle.

And your DIY Honey Water Face Spray is all ready to go!

    • Hi, thank you so much for reading!
Adding the Vitamin E Oil should preserve the longevity of the spray a bit; however, I would recommend storing it in the fridge at all times.
      Hope this helps!
