Back at it again with yet another Lush copycat recipe. I just can’t help it!
I have been trying and crafting so many recipes lately, it’s so hard to keep count. Particularly, I have been focusing on the brand Lush, and trying to come up with as many copycat recipes as I can.
The crafting process isn’t always the best, I’ll admit, but after some trial and error I somehow almost always manage to reap good results. Also, the recipes I have been duping aren’t really that expensive or hard to craft, at the end of the day!
This water toner is perfect for more irritated skin, or people who just want an on-the-go solution for hot summer days. It is quite the refreshing treat, especially if kept in your fridge!
So, are you ready to find out how to make your own DIY Lush Eau Roma Water Toner?
Let’s get started!
Before jumping into the crafting process, let’s quickly talk about these ingredients and their benefits for your skin. Also, while we’re at it, let’s touch on the bottle subject.
Rose Water is a fairly popular tonic solution, and also one of the cheapest to come by. This liquid acts as the perfect astringent, minimizing pores and helping balance the skin’s natural pH. Moreover, it can help reduce inflammation, redness and acne. You can click here to find out how to make it at home!
Lavender Essential Oil is often featured in my DIY beauty recipes, and is one of the most versatile oils ever. It moisturizes and adds glow to the complexion, while fighting acne and scars; it can help reduce texture and discoloration as well.
Lastly, let’s quickly discuss the addition of Vitamin E Oil. This ingredient can be omitted, but will make sure your Eau Roma Water Toner doesn’t go bad; if you don’t plan on adding it, remember to store the spray in your fridge.
Now, on to the container part.
This product is marketed as a spray solution, and that’s how I decided to go by while crafting it. I find this format a lot more practical and efficient when it comes to skincare, and also great for travelling. However, it doesn’t have to be your favorite!
Feel free to store your liquid solution in a simple jar or even serum bottle, if that’s what makes its application more comfortable for you!
If you plan on adding the Vitamin E Oil, I would suggest to immediately pop the pills into the rose water; then, mix the two thoroughly.
On the other hand, if you won’t use it, feel free to simple add the lavender essential oil drops into your container and then pour the rose water into it. Make sure to shake well, so that the ingredients will be well acquainted.
And your DIY Lush Eau Roma Water Toner is all ready to go!
