Hey, pretty people!

This Hair Growth Serum was heavily inspired by a similar recipe I created in the past. The ingredients are different, of course, but the principle stays the same.

There are many ways to apply this formula, and I believe there is no ‘right or wrong’ one; it all goes down to your hair type, really.

Since I have oily hair, my preferred method is to apply the formula at night and then wash it all off the following morning. However, if your hair happens to be dry and in need of a good hydrating solution, feel free to apply the serum however you prefer!

This Hair Growth Serum is a literal ‘bomb of hydration’, since it is made from 4 different oils; applying it to your roots will not only moisturize the scalp, but provide a much faster growth as well.

So, are you ready to find out how to make your own DIY Miracle Hair Growth Serum?

Let’s get started!

YOU’LL NEED

  • 2 Tablespoons of Castor Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons of Aloe Vera Oil (or Aloe Vera Gel)
  • 1 Tablespoons of Almond Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon of Coconut Oil
  • An empty serum bottle
  • A bowl

Before jumping into the crafting process, let’s talk a little bit about these ingredients and a few of their benefits for your skin.

CASTOR OIL

The actual definition of hydration, Castor Oil is one of the best ingredients to use if you want your scalp and hair to be nice and moisturized. Moreover, massaging this oil on your scalp and letting it sit is the best method to speed up the natural growth!

ALOE VERA GEL

Aloe Vera Gel is one of the most versatile ingredients out there, and one of the few that will work perfectly on every hair/skin type. It will give your locks bounce and life, as well as keeping it healthy and shiny. Also, it will improve growth and strength. I decided to use aloe vera oil for the sake of not spending too much time mixing; you can click here to find out how to make it!

ALMOND OIL

Almond Oil is also a pretty impressive hair-conditioning and moisturizing element in this recipe, but can make it stronger and softer as well. Moreover, this ingredient can add a good amount of shine and silkiness.

COCONUT OIL

Coconut Oil is one of the most famous haircare (and also skincare) ingredients out there, and one many people actually swear by. This ingredient is amazing when it comes to moisturizing, but can promote a healthier scalp as well. It will help fight dandruff as well as dullness, and also promote shiny, soft and bouncy hair.

Alright, let’s get crafting!

Firstly, you want to focus on melting your coconut oil completely; a quick trip to the microwave should be enough, but make sure the formula becomes smooth and liquid.

Once your coconut oil is ready, simply mix it with all the other oils. If you decided to use Aloe Vera Gel, make sure to put the most effort possible into mixing. You want your final product to be liquid and smooth, so try to be patient and keep stirring!

Lastly, pour the formula into the empty bottle.

And your DIY Miracle Hair Growth Serum is all ready to go!
