Hey, pretty people!

I have brought a few lip oil recipes on the blog recently, and a few more interesting lip-related products.

This time, I am posting the perfect combination between the previous lip oils I shared with you.

This recipe features a few simple ingredients, and has a whole lot of benefits to it.

From healing chapped and dry lips to plumping them, this product can also give your pout a nice and soft wash of color.

So, are you ready to find out how to make your own ultra moisturizing and plumping tinted lip oil?

Let’s get started!

YOU’LL NEED

  • 3 Tablespoons of Sweet Almond Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon of Honey
  • 15 drops of Cinnamon Essential Oil
  • 1 Vitamin E Oil tab
  • An eyeshadow of your choice
  • An empty container, like a gloss or serum one

Before jumping straight into the crafting process, let’s talk a little bit about a few of these ingredients and their benefits.

SWEET ALMOND OIL

Sweet Almond Oil is a pretty popular skincare ingredient, and the perfect base for this product. It has amazing moisturizing properties, and it helps a great deal when it comes to treating dry and chapped lips and minimizing lines.

HONEY

Honey is another moisturizing agent of this lip oil, and provides just the perfect amount of glow and thickness to the formulation. Also, it will help deminish the appearance of line and make the lips look plumper.

CINNAMON ESSENTIAL OIL

Cinnamon Essential Oil is a pretty underrated ingredient when it comes to skincare. Also, it’s the true plumping element of this oil. It can help provide some additional moisture to the lips, all the while plumping them and making them look bigger and fuller.

Alright, let’s get crafting!

The first thing you want to do is break the eyeshadow down into the finest powder possible.

This step can be a bit annoying and take a little bit of time, but it’s also the key to the ‘tinted’ element of the product. Take your time and be careful not to injure yourself!

Once you have your fine powder ready, toss it into the sweet almond oil and stir the two ingredients together.

Let the oil infuse for a couple of hours, then strain the liquid to make sure it’s smooth and perfect.

Now that you have the colored oil, add the honey, the essential oil drops and vitamin E oil tab into it and mix everything together.

This is another annoying step, but it’s a crucial one as well. Keep stirring the ingredients for a couple of minutes at least, and make sure they’re perfectly blended together and the consistency is smooth.

All you have to do now is pour the mixture into the container.

And your DIY ultra moisturizing and plumping tinted lip oil is all ready to go!

♡  Thank you so much for reading! I hope we kept each other company for a while. Have a wonderful day! ♡
