This DIY Super Shiny Hair Spray recipe is part of a super customized haircare routine I crafted up for myself these past days.
My hair has been all over the place for a while now, with my roots getting oily (like always) and the rest getting dry – and quite frizzy, actually. This is quite new for me, and I didn’t really know how to approach the problem.
This DIY Super Shiny Hair Spray is amazing to use right after stepping out of the shower, as well as before sleep. I found it to help a lot with frizziness, and even more with dryness.
I personally prefer to apply it to damp hair, right after my shampoo and conditioner routine. Just apply a good spritz (stay away from the roots if you have oily hair) and brush it through.

YOU’LL NEED
- 1/2 cup of Distilled Water
- 1/2 cup of Rose Water
- 2 Tablespoons of Aloe Vera Gel
- 3 Tablespoons of Argan Oil
- A bowl
- A spray bottle

ROSE WATER
Rose Water is quite the interesting ingredient to use in your haircare routine, particularly for frizzy or damaged hair types. This liquid is perfect to restore shine to your hair, as well as possibly re-balance your scalp’s pH levels. Moreover, it can greatly help with texture, smoothness and softness.
ALOE VERA GEL
