How many times have you wished you could maximize your morning routine when it comes to outfits?
Maybe you’re not that into fashion, but still would like to always have something ready for any occasion; that’s exactly what we’re going to talk about today!
In this article, we’re going to examine how to create the perfect outfit rotation for any occasion (work, school, date night) with literally no investment. In fact, the only requirements you’ll need are a quite afternoon, your clothes and your patience.
It’s going to take a little bit of time, but I promise it’s a small sacrifice that will definitely boost your morning routine.
So, are you ready to find out how you can create and organize your outfits beforehand, and ultimately boost your morning routine?
Let’s get started!
Do you want to literally glow up overnight using the Light Feminine method? Click here!
Like I said before, the actual first step of this exercise is to take away some time to actually be able to go through your closet. It’s going to take some time, and it’s better to do it all in one go. An afternoon or morning will suffice!
What you want to do is divide your clothes in two sections: one for the pieces you were most often, and the other for the ones you don’t really like or wear too much. We all have those, let’s be real.
From the pile of clothing that you like and wear more frequently, try to put some outfits together.
You want to have quite a few hangers on hand, and any storage systems you feel comfortable using. Something that allows you to have all of your outfits bundled together without you getting confused.

Something that can help you a great deal here is taking pictures of the ensembles you create with your phone.
If you’re afraid you’ll lose track of them, one thing you can do is create a Pinterest board about them, so you can upload all of your photos there. It’s 100% free, and will be so helpful if you’re trying to stay organized!
The second step of this system is a much less time-consuming one – and it’s all about creating your outfit schedule.
You have created all of your outfits, and the only thing left to do is schedule them for the week – or for the following days, at least. You probably already know what you’re going to do or where you’ll be for the following days; you should obviously keep that in mind whenever inserting your outfits in your weekly schedule.
Like I mentioned before, something that’s super helpful when it comes to editing your schedule is creating your own Pinterest board.
In case you’re not familiar with it, Pinterest is a social media that is 100% free of charge. It allows you to create and share (or, rather, pin) different pictures or videos on any topic in different boards.
For example, let’s say you’re interested in DIY clay crafts. You can easily search for those and pin any image or video you enjoy in a specific board you’ll create about it!
A cool feature Pinterest offers is to create different section in each board. Let’s make another example, shall we?
Let’s say you’re interested in creating a board about cooking. In that board, you can have separate categories for vegan recipes, fruit recipes, tips and tricks, and so on.
This way, you’ll have everything under control. You can create, schedule and keep track of your outfits effortelessly!
I don’t really know you, so I can’t vouch for your lifestyle. However, I feel like one thing I can say for sure: you probably don’t have time (or just don’t want to waste time) to invest in crafting the perfect outfit. And that’s more than fair!
One tip I have for you (that’s also super basic yet impacting) is to lay out your ensemble the night before, with all of the necessary accessories.
This isn’t anything groundbreaking, but I promise you it’ll make a huge impact in your morning routine. Try to believe!
Ok, this isn’t really a proper step of this routine – it’s more of a suggestion, really.
What I would recommend you to do is to pre-plan your outfits for your entire week. It sounds a bit too ambitious, but it’s a pretty good solution to save a bunch of time daily.
I know you may not want to think that far ahead, but I encourage you to try – even just once. It’s an interesting exercise to train your creativity as well!
A far too common issue that can happen when using this method to create outfits is, you may fall prey to routine.
Even if fashion doesn’t really interest you, you might not want to end up rotating the same outfits over and over again. Unfortunately, this can be an actual risk when you make use of this procedure.
If you want to keep your clothing arrangements looking (and feeling!) anything but an usual and boring choice, try to mix and match items from each outfit.
It’s the easiest way to keep your attire looking fresh and interesting every day. Moreover, it’ll allow you to work on your closet without actually needing to buy any new items. Again, it’s also a fun way to train your creative muscle daily!
And we’re at the very last step of this routine! Again, I have to be honest: this is more of a tip!
One thing I have to tell you about this whole routine is that you actually need to try and stick to the scheduling plan you have created. Give it a go for a week, at the very least!
Sticking to the plan is important not only to prevent you from wasting time in the morning, but also to give you a general idea of the outfits you can create in a week.
Remember: the very first week is more of a general trial, a sort of dress rehersal, if you will. This is your test to see if the outfits you created actually satisfy you, and to see if they can actually inspire more. At the end of the day, it’s not that serious: it’s just clothes!
Your first week of scheduled outfits may feel a little rough around the edges, but it’s smooth sailing after that point.
Just give it a go!
