Discover the Divine Aromas of These Exquisite Arab Perfumes

Hey, pretty people!

Ever since a couple of months ago, my TikTok fyp has been flooded with arab perfumes recommendations. And that’s exactly when I realised I knew so little about that world!

When I was following my makeup artist course I learned that a good part of the current perfume tradition owes its origins to the Middle Eastern traditions. Flash forward a couple of months, I somehow forget that information as I plummet deeper and deeper into a newlyfound passion for fragrances.

Needless to say, I am quite disappointed in myself for this.

Arab perfumes are quite popular online nowadays, but it has been a little tricky for me to get ahold of them.

I did spot a couple of interesting ones on Amazon, but I was hesitant to try them. The fact that I had to commit to a full size product without having a clue of what it smelled like seemed daunting to me.

That’s when a friend of mine finds a new website that is coincidentally having quite a big sale, and we buy a couple of perfumes. And that’s how this article originates!

In this post I am going to share with you all of my Arab perfumes, including their composition. Little spoiler: they’re all by Al-Rehab.

Are you ready to find out which ones I ended up bagging?

Let’s get started!

DALAL by Al-Rehab

I wanted to kick off this post with my most favorite perfume out of the bunch.

As soon as I saw Dalal’s composition online, I knew I had to have it. I quite enjoy sweeter perfumes, and this one seemed like a perfect match for me.

This fragrance is quite enticing, although it does tend to lean more towards saccharine side. The contrast between orange, vanilla and sandalwood definitely is a captivating, and the heart caramel note just gives you that gut punch that completely entrances you.

It lasts quite a while, and you can definitely smell it on other people. Fun fact: I gifted a bottle to my aunt, she sprayed it once and everybody could smell it on her for the entire day!

I couldn’t recommend it more!

  • Top Note: Orange
  • Heart Note: Vanilla, Caramel
  • Base Note: Sandalwood

You can check out its composition on Fragrantica.com.

FANTASTIC by Al-Rehab

The friend that suggested buying this perfumes claims this is a super close dupe of ‘Fantasy’ by Britney Spears. I cannot confirm or deny those claims, but I will say this: I very much enjoy this fragrance!

This scent is a fun and lively one, a good mix between floral and fruity – with just the perfect amount of sweetness. It’s quite a warm scent as well, and I do appreciate the spices at its base – they create a great contrast with the sweetness of the top notes.

The musk element of the heart is very much present, and is the one that ties everything together in my opinion. It provides a good union between the candied nature of the flowers and the stronger smell of the spices, and gives the perfumes a much needed ‘punch’.

Quite an interesting choice to try out!

  • Top Notes: Tuberose, Jasmine, Vanilla, Amber, Rose
  • Heart Notes: White Musk, Fruity notes and Spices
  • Base Notes: White Musk, Fruity notes and Spices

Check it out on Fragrantica.com.

GOLDEN by Al-Rehab

Oudh is definitely a new ingredient for me, but I have to say I deeply appreciate the role it serves in this perfume oil.

This stronger base offers a compelling variance between the sweeter top notes, particularly the more floral ones. The amber top note also helps tie everything together, bringing back the strength of the oudh so that the scents can go full circle.

Compared to the previous ones, Golden could be defined as more of a traditionally unisex fragrance. It’s an interesting one to try out, especially if you’ve never really given stronger scents a go.

Since I haven’t been able to find a proper distinction between the notes, I’ll just give them all to you. Vanilla, amber, caramel, Oudh, floral.

Once again, you can find this fragrance on Fragrantica.com.
