Kylie Cosmetics is one of the most popular brands in the beauty industry as of today, and has been expanding their product range at quite the impressive rate.
The youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters has created a new collection for every season and multiple celebrations, including collabs with friends and family. All her collections featured multiple interesting products, but the ones that seem to steal the cake time and time again are her liquid lipsticks.
Originally only available in 3 shades (‘Candy K’, ‘Dolce K’ and ‘True Brown K’), the line has expanded considerably throughout the years and now includes a bunch of new and interesting colors and a total of 5 different formulations; for this top 10, however, we are only going to see matte liquid lipsticks, regular glosses and a metal formula.

This matte liquid lipstick is a true blue red, and reminds me a lot of the ‘Uncensored’ Stunna Lip Paint from Fenty Beauty. If you’re looking for that bold red lip that will look good on any skintone, this liquid lipstick is a great candidate.
The formulation is one of my favorites among the Kylie liquid lipsticks. It’s a bit creamier than other colors, glides on your lips and puts down 100% pigment on them.
I have a little bit of a problem with red lipsticks, in the sense that they freak me out a little bit, but this color is just too beautiful to resist! Also, one thing to note: it’s only available in a matte finish.
Another one that is only available in a matte finish – and a Lip Kit, to be exact – this is probably the most popular liquid lipstick of the brand. Being Kylie’s favorite shade has undoubtedly helped with its rise to popularity, but I have to admit I am quite the fan of this shade myself. I prefer to wear in the summer when I am a little bit tan – since I am quite pale – but this shade would be a perfect nude for light-medium skintones, in my opinion.
It’s a very nice warm beige shade, and has a very nice pigmentation to it. It’s not as creamy as Mary Jo K, but the formula sits comfortably on the lips nonetheless. Unfortunately, this one only comes in a Lip Kit – meaning you actually have to purchase a matching lip liner along with it.
This color came around during last Halloween’s collection, and it got my attention right away. As I have mentioned before I have a quite pale complexion, and finding a nude lip color isn’t as easy as one may think. This shade, however, is a beautiful match for me.
It’s a very muted pink nude color, and only comes in a matte formula (either alone or as part of a Lip Kit). I prefer to pair it with an ever-so-slightly darker lip liner to give it a little bit more dimension.
The only metal lipstick in this post, Reign kind of surprised me when I firstly wore it. Who would have thought that a metallic lipstick could also be so wearable? I mean, it still has quite the spice to it, but still. You could easily wear it around on a casual day, in my opinion.
Compared to the other liquid lipsticks, this formulation is a lot creamier and almost feels like a straight-up mousse on your lips, even more than Mary Jo K. The pigment is extraordinary, going 0-100 real quick as soon as it glides on your mouth.
I definitely see myself buying this time and time again!
Dedicated to her momager Kris, this shade has been a fan favorite from the very beginning.
It’s described as a warm brown berry on the website, but I don’t fully agree with this description. In the bottle it looks like a muted warm berry, but once it’s swatched/applied it turns into a berry redd-ish shade, in my opinion.
I love to use this shade in the spring and summer, and once again it has one of the best formulations of all the liquid lipsticks. It’s only available as a matte lipstick or as part of a matte Lip Kit.
This cool mid-tone berry has gotten so popular that Kylie Cosmetics have decided to make one for every formula: Velvet, Matte and Gloss!
All jokes aside, I must admit that this bright pink lipstick stole my heart when I first tried it. I saw it online for the first time, and I knew it was going to pop quite a bit on my fair skintone, and I have to admit that that was the exciting bit for me.
The formula is not as creamy as Mary Jo K, but the pigmentation is simply top-notch: one swipe and you’re good to go. I definitely see myself re-buying it in the future!
This pale beige gloss is a dream come true for me, mainly because I did not expect such pigmentation from a gloss!
Formulation-wise, I really haven’t got much to say; it’s a very good product, it glides on the lips effortelessly and creates an even finish. However, I have to be completely honest: I expected a little bit more of a ‘plump’ look out of this, if you get what I mean.
It’s a very good gloss for fair to light complexions, though!
I feel like the ‘plump’ effect I expected from ‘So Cute’ was caused by this mid-tone nude gloss.
The pigmentation is still top-notch, just like before, and the formulation glides on the lips well, but this one creates kind of a ‘glass’ effect that I really appreciate in a gloss. I just wish ‘So Cute’ had it, too!
It’s one of my go-to glosses, and will probably buy it again.
Almost like ‘Kristen’, this color got fairly popular and was also tranformed in a gloss version.
This pale pink shade was one of the first I have ever bought (not just from Kylie, but in general), and I am positive I will never stop loving it. I love how natural and flattering it looks on my skin, and how well it pairs with many of the looks I usually do.
The formulation is very very good, leaving 100% of the pigment on the lips and doesn’t need re-dipping. It dries down quick and lasts forever!
Much like Koko K, this light cool-tone nude was one of the first liquid lipsticks (Lip Kit, actually) I have ever bought, and definitely my favorite when it comes to Kylie Cosmetics. I used it so much the writings have faded off!
It pairs perfectly with almost any look, and literally lasts all day long. It not only has a wonderful pigmentation, but also a comfortable, smooth texture on the lips.
I am definitely going to buy it again!
