My Top 3 Favorite Femme Fatale Fragrances | Femme Fatale Perfumes

Hey, pretty people!

This is the first time I bring fragrances and perfumes on my blog, and I am quite excited about it!

I wanted this article to be kind of fun and light-hearted, and I do hope the title didn’t seem too serious for you. Also, if you have more suggestions, I would love to hear about them in the comments!

I have to say that explaining my reasoning with choosing these kinds of perfumes is all over the place, and people who actually know the world of fragrances will probably faint reading these words. However, I will try to be as concise and understandable as possible.

When I think of ‘femme fatale’, smells that can be defined as ‘feminine’ immediately come to mind. Things that are generally sweet but that still have a ‘bite’ to them, somehow; allow me to try and give you an example.

My preferred sweetness is usually associated with Vanilla – or with that olfactory family. When it comes to what I called ‘bite’, I have to say I prefer spices or incense. I probably did not explain myself very well, but hopefully you’ll get what I mean with these perfumes!

So, are you ready to find out which ones are my Top 3 Favorite Femme Fatale Fragrances?

Let’s get started!

VERSACE – Crystal Noir

This fragrance came to me in a kind of weird way. Here’s the long story short: it was a sort of ‘reparatory gift’ from my mom. I was beyond excited when she gifted that to me, as we both tried ‘Bright Crystal’ many years ago and were quite happy with that! Needless to say, it was love at first sniff with this one, too.

Crystal Noir is in the ‘oriental’ and ‘floral’ categories, and has quite the interesting composition. Its Top Notes are Pepper, Cardamom and Ginger; its Middle Notes are Orange Blossom, Gardenia and Peony; lastly, its Base Notes are Amber, Sandalwood and Musk.

Hopefully, this notes’ list has made my whole rambling about sweetness and bite clearer. The contrasts here are quite defined!

Moreover, the balance between spicy and floral notes is what Femme Fatale fragrances are all about, for me. None overpowers the other, on the contrary; they just about bring the best out of each other.

I have to say that this packaging is quite nice to look at, so much so I haven’t been able to throw the cardboard away yet. I especially love the glass cap, with all of the crystal like designs and the Versace logo you can see inside.

It’s quite a small, compact product, which makes it easier to carry it around if you were to travel. Also, the writings are thin and look quite elegant.

CAROLINA HERRERA – Good Girl

I had seen this fragrance’s commercial long before I saw people advertising it on TikTok, but it wasn’t until last December that I decided to go into the store and see (smell) what all the hype was about. Just like with Crystal Noir, it wrapped me in immediately.

I really think this perfume is going to become my signature fragrance, although I do see myself experimenting some more around. Nevertheless, this product is (and probably will be for a hot minute) one of my favorites!

Its Top Notes are Sambac Jasmine and Tuberose Crystal; its Middle Note is Velvet Almond. Lastly, its Base Notes are Tonka Bean, Cocoa and Coffee Bean.

This packaging is one of the most beautiful and interesting ones I have ever seen. Even if you don’t like it, you have to admit it is a unique one!

I will say it isn’t the most practical one, but it still is a joy to look at.

DIOR – J’Adore

I wanted to close this post off with one of the perfumes I have used the longest among all of these. It was a Christmas gift from years ago, and I have treasured it dearly.

It’s slightly more ‘lightweight’ than the previous ones. Also, some may argue about its placement among these Femme Fatale Fragrances. However, I find it to be an elegant and classic choice!

Its Top Notes are Pear, Melon, Magnolia, Peach, Bergamot and Tangerine; its Middle Notes are Jasmine, Lily of the Valley, Tuberose, Fresia, Rose, Orchid, Prune and Violet; lastly, its Base Notes are Musk, Vanilla, Blackberry and Cedarwood.

I have to say that I really enjoy this packaging, although it is more on the ‘simple’ side. It is perfectly efficient and gets the job done, all the while giving us the gold vibes that distinguish the fragrance to begin with. Granted it is not my favorite, I do see the beauty in it!

♡  Thank you so much for reading! I hope we kept each other company for a while. Have a wonderful day! ♡
