This article marks the end of The Eras Tour Outfits series. To be honest, I am quite sad about it!

I have had such a wonderful time going through every single one of Taylor Swift’s albums – and I hope you have enjoyed the ride as well.

This time, we’re covering Taylor’s most recent release (excluding her re-recordings, of course): Midnights!

I have to say, this is an album that grew on me over time (the expanse of one day).

Sure, I did quite like it at the first listen, but it was only around the third one that I actually realized how much I truly enjoyed it.

THE ALBUM

Midnights is Taylor Swift’s tenth album, and it came out in October 2022. A total of 3 singles were released with it: Karma, Anti-Hero and, lastly, Lavender Haze, my favorite.

This is a very interesting pop album from the singer in my opinion, providing quite a unique sound throughout the entire collection of songs. More than that, I believe this is one of her most evocative pieces of work – effectively providing immediate storytelling, especially on the colors side.

THE AESTHETIC

One thing this album is full of, ‘visually’ speaking of course, is evocative shades. Think of songs like ‘Maroon’ or ‘Lavender Haze’, for example – nothing gets more specific than that, really!

In my opinion, this aesthetic is an effective blend of multiple visual movements – After Hours being the most prominent one, but there’s also some Y2K elements sprinkled here and there.

THE COLORS

This record’s palette is a richer one, full of deep and morose shades like navy blue and black.

However, we must not forget that there are a few pops – like lavender and red – here and there. In fact, those are used to represent specific songs!

The title of the record is Midnights for a reason!

Stars and constellations are what encapsulate the essence of the work best, and often come up when it comes to Midnights’ visuals. Remember they can also be used in accessories and jewelry!
