Don’t @ me, but Primark is probably my favorite store for my occasional shopping sprees.
With fairly good quality products that range from home décor, to makeup, to actual clothing at a more than convenient price, it’s kind of hard to resist the temptation.
Instead of a regular haul, however, I wanted to highlight a particular section that I don’t believe to be as recognized as it should: lingerie.
The “Secret Possession” line from Primark is dedicated to more revealing and aesthetically pleasing underwear, and also budget-friendly – I have never heard of a better combo!
Today, we will be taking an in-depth look at five items from said collection, and hopefully learning something more about that taboo concept that is lingerie.
Let’s jump right in!
Probably not as exciting as the other pieces, but I was pretty pleased with this.
It may not be as obvious to most, but finding a bralette (or a more out-there bra in general) for someone who has bigger breasts is not as easy as you may think.
The lilac color is very cute, and I love the floral designs! The shape of the bralette perfectly hugs my curves, which makes it very comfortable to wear around.
Also, unlike most bras, I don’t feel the urge to take it off as soon as I am home. The straps are the perfect size, too.
Again, it may look basic to you, but I really think this is a good quality item!
They did give me a couple of problems, but they are too cute!
After a few days, the “silk-like” strings tore away unfortunately, so I messily sewed them back up. Other than that, they are one of the most comfortable pairs of underwear I own.
Initially, I was kind of worried about the lace on the back, thinking it would have been scratchy and uncomfortable. Guess what? I was wrong!
The pink fabric is actually very soft and hugs your body just the right way, you might even forget you’re wearing it.
Before you all come for me: they were sold in pairs!
Probably the second most revealing pieces out of this entire haul, they are also among the cutest.
The general fabric is almost transparent (except for the usual area), and its embellished by little gold polka dots. I thought the three elastic strings on top were going to be annoying, but thankfully they aren’t.
Much like the pink bottoms from before, they hug your curves perfectly.
I don’t know if it was the color or the fact that it only cost 0.50$ to wrap me in.
This is also the item that made me nervous the most, to be honest. I have never owned any pieces of lingerie up until recently, and did not know much about it.
Let me tell you: not only this is the cutest (and cheapest) thong I’ll probably ever own, but also the most comfortable. The lace on top is softer than every previous item we’ve seen, and the rest of the fabric makes it perfect to wear with any clothes and not show up underneath.
There’s also a cute little bow!
Now, I know that lingerie isn’t for everybody. Trust me, I get it: I just went into the store for a cute bralette for lazy days, and look what I came out with!
If you’re looking for a cheap something to get started and experiment, I definitely recommend checking Primark out. You most likely will find a couple of things that suit you and will only cost a couple bucks.
I also appreciate the fact that they kept in mind people with bigger ‘packages’. It may be very common in your country, but it’s not here in Italy!
I definitely recommend!
